Morphy’s Annual Pre-Christmas Auction: A Treasure Trove for Collectors

Denver, PA – Morphy’s Auctions is back with its much-anticipated pre-Christmas Fine & Decorative Arts Auction, scheduled for December 17-19, 2024. This year’s event promises an array of exquisite items, perfect for discerning collectors and holiday gift-givers alike.

Among the standout pieces are 195 art-glass lamps, including the exceptionally rare Tiffany ‘Venetian’ lamp with provenance from the renowned Macklowe Gallery. This 19-inch tall masterpiece is expected to fetch between $60,000-$80,000.

For those looking for the ultimate stocking stuffer, a ladies’ platinum and diamond line necklace with 66 near-colorless emerald-cut diamonds (21.50cts total weight) is estimated at $25,000-$40,000. Another highlight is an 18K gold Rolex Daytona Ref 116528 wristwatch, made circa 2011-2013, estimated at $18,000-$28,000.

Additionally, a Reed & Barton 7-piece tea and coffee service, retailed by Cartier and embodying gracious living, is estimated at $10,000-$25,000.

European highlights include a monumental circa-1925 Hans Winterhalder Black Forest clock ($10,000-$30,000) and a huge circa-1885 Villeroy & Boch “Mettlach” jardiniere ($6,000-$8,000).
