Y.Chroma Unveils First Outerwear Collection at NY Fashion Week

Y.Chroma Launches First Outerwear Collection

October 24, 2024

Y.Chroma, the Lisbon-based menswear brand known for its innovative approach to modern men’s fashion, has officially launched its first-ever outerwear collection. The debut took place at this year’s New York Fashion Week, showcasing the brand’s commitment to blending adventure with high-quality craftsmanship.

Founder and Creative Director Max Israel shared his excitement: “Outerwear is the final layer that completes a man’s wardrobe. It’s the most visible piece, but also the one that carries the most adventure and versatility. Our goal is to merge that adventurous spirit with the quality our customers expect from Y.Chroma.”

The new collection integrates seamlessly with Y.Chroma’s existing wardrobe system, featuring waterproof and windproof fabrics and insulating layers. Each piece is designed to be both stylish and functional, perfect for any setting—from city streets to mountain trails.

Key pieces include:

  • Three down puffer jackets
  • A versatile light puffer with three styling options
  • A field jacket
  • New colorways of the best-selling Varial Shirt-Cut jacket

Principal Designer Nikolay Pachev emphasized the collection’s blend of comfort and distinction: “We’ve taken a lot of care to create pieces that feel as good as they look, with technical features and luxurious fabrics that hold up in any environment.”

Starting today, the outerwear collection is available for pre-order, with shipments beginning in early November. Each item is made in Europe, featuring bold colors and technical textiles that push against mainstream professional attire.
